| Eligibility for Admission |
| Admission to one year executive MBA Programme is open to: |
 |
graduate in any discipline of a recognized University / Deemed University with a minimum of three years of work experience in Managerial / Supervisory / Executive Cadre in business / industry in private or public sector in Government / Semi Government /Qualis – Government Institutions/ Entrepreneur. |
 |
Candidates with teaching experience of minimum 3 years in any affiliated college of any recognized university are also eligible to apply. |

Services Certificate / Appointment letter from current employer (candidate must submit the documentary evidence to prove minimum number of years of experience as mentioned in the eligibility condition)… |

Document proof like certificate of incorporation, certificate of registration of SSI/MSi etc., Of the current employer to prove the genuineness of employer. |

Self-employed candidates should submit the certificate or registration with SSI/KVIC etc., And must be in the business for a minimum of 3years. |

Candidates with professional degree like BE/ MBBS/ LLB/ CA/ ACS/ ICWA, etc., Can submit their membership certificate from their respective profess bodies. |

| Academic Regulations |
| Duration of the programme |
| Duration of the programme is one year. Candidates should complete the programme within three years of registration to the programme or else they have to re-register. |
|
| Medium of Instruction |
| The medium of instruction of Executive - MBA programme is English . Examination must be written in English only. |
|
| Programme Structure |
| Executive MBA Programme consist of eight courses with compulsory project report and viva-voce |

| Weekend Classes: |
Weekend classes will be conducted on Saturday and Sundays.
On Saturday – 10.00 A.M to 6.00 P.M
On Sundays – 10.00 A.M to 1.00 P.M |
| Minimum Attendance Required |
| Seventy Five percent attendance to contact classes is compulsory. Candidates who do not have seventy five percent attendance are NOT eligible to register and to appear for the examination |

| Project Work |
Every candidate must submit a project report in the year of admission and before the commencement of the examination without which candidates will NOT be permitted to take up the examination. Project must be done under the guidance of a recognized guide. |
| Project may be of any of the following types: |
| Field Study i.e. Empirical Study. |
| Independent research Study. |
| Project report must be submitted before commencement of the examination. Project report must contain a certificate from the guide / Supervisor. A Viva – Voce examination will be conducted later. |

| Recognized Guide / Supervisor |
Teachers working in University Post Graduate Department, Management colleges with post-graduate programme in management studies, affiliated to Universities , with a minimum three years of teaching experience in the areas in which the candidates intends to take up the project shall be considered as guide / Supervisor. Candidates must submit a brief synopsis of the project mentioning. |

| Submission of Project Report |
| Two copies of project Report must be submitted to the controller of examination, PRIST University, Thanjavur to be forwarded by the Director, Centre for Distance Education, PRIST University. Thanjavur |
| Minimum for Pass |
- Students must secure a minimum of 50 marks in each paper.
- Minimum of 100 marks should be scored out of 200 marks in case of project.

| Awards of Degree |
| On successful completion of the course the candidate will be awarded the degree of Executive Master of Business Administration |
|
| Classification of Successful Candidates |
The candidates shall be entitled for the declaration of class upon successful completion of the papers and project as detailed below: |
First Class with Distinction – 75% and above
(only for those who have passed in the first attempt)
First Class – 65 % and above but below 75%
Second Class – 50% and above but below 65% |

| B. Fee Structure |
Payment of fees |
| The prescribed fee for the program should be paid either in full or in two equal installments one (Rs. 15,000) at the time of admission and the other (10,000) within the next three months. |
